Enemy Progression & Combat Improvements
Blade Rising 1.3.7 introduces a redesigned enemy progression system, improving how enemy difficulty grows throughout an adventure. Enemies now become stronger more consistently as your Dachshund climbs through the Floors of Evil, with smoother progression to Health, Damage and Attack Speed. The update also includes fixes for enemy damage, improvements to Battle Pass information access, better support for unlock popup titles and several smaller fixes.
💀 Enemy Progression Redesign
We've redesigned how enemies grow stronger throughout an adventure.
Enemy difficulty now scales more consistently as players climb through the Floors of Evil.
Every new enemy level contributes to progression, making encounters gradually harder instead of relying primarily on larger difficulty increases between Floors.
Enemies progressively gain:
More Health
More Damage
Faster Attack Speed
This creates a smoother difficulty curve throughout an adventure and makes each step deeper into the Floors of Evil contribute to increasing difficulty.
Enemy progression continues throughout all 1000 Floors of Evil.
Early Floors remain accessible while enemies become increasingly difficult to defeat as players push deeper into an adventure.
👹 Improved Encounter Progression
Enemy levels now have a more meaningful impact on their combat strength.
Each Floor contains a sequence of increasingly difficult encounters.
Instead of multiple enemies within the same Floor having nearly identical combat statistics, enemy progression now continues between individual encounters.
This means that progressing from one enemy to the next gradually increases the challenge even before reaching the next Floor.
The larger long-term difficulty progression between Floors remains in place.
👑 Elite & Boss Scaling
Elite enemies and Bosses remain significant difficulty spikes during each Floor.
Their increased Health, Damage and Attack Speed are applied on top of the continuously growing enemy progression.
Regular enemies therefore become gradually stronger while Elite and Boss encounters provide larger difficulty spikes.
This preserves the existing encounter structure while making the overall difficulty progression smoother and more consistent.
❤️ Enemy Damage Fix
Fixed an issue that could cause enemies, particularly during early Floors, to deal no damage to the player's Dachshund.
Enemy attacks were occurring correctly, but some early enemy Damage values could resolve to zero.
Positive enemy attacks now correctly deal damage.
This also restores the intended importance of Health, Defense, Evasion, regeneration and other defensive progression during an adventure.
ℹ️ Battle Pass Info Fix
Fixed an issue with the Battle Pass information popup button.
Players should now be able to correctly access the Battle Pass information panel from the Battle Pass screen.
The information panel itself already existed.
This change specifically fixes its button/access behavior.
🎁 Improved Unlock Popups
Improved support for longer titles in unlock popups.
Unlock notifications can now correctly display longer titles when introducing progression milestones and newly unlocked mechanics.
This is a UI/readability improvement.
🔧 Other Fixes
