Prestige is Blade Rising's permanent progression system. Instead of endlessly pushing a single combat run, players eventually perform an Ascension, converting completed progress into permanent Prestige Points that can be invested inside the Atlas of Ascension. Every new run starts stronger than the previous one, allowing faster progression and unlocking increasingly powerful Atlas upgrades.

What you'll learn

  • What Prestige is and why it exists
  • What happens when you Ascend
  • How Prestige Points are earned and spent
  • How the Atlas of Ascension is structured
  • Why Prestige is the core long-term progression system

Section 01

What is Prestige?

Prestige represents permanent account progression.

Unlike temporary combat upgrades, Prestige upgrades remain unlocked after future Ascensions and continuously strengthen your character.

Prestige exists to create long-term progression rather than extending a single combat run forever.

Section 02

What happens during Ascension?

When you Ascend, your current run begins again from the beginning.

The current combat progression is restarted and you begin another journey through the Floors of Evil.

However, permanent Prestige progression is preserved, allowing every new run to become stronger than the previous one.

Section 03

Prestige Points

Prestige Points are the currency used to unlock Atlas upgrades.

As players reach higher progression, additional Prestige Points become available, allowing investment into different Atlas regions and long-term builds.

Prestige Points are never spent on temporary combat bonuses—they permanently unlock Atlas progression.

Section 04

The Atlas of Ascension

The Atlas of Ascension is Blade Rising's permanent upgrade map.

Instead of one linear upgrade tree, the Atlas is divided into specialized regions.

Each region focuses on a different style of progression, allowing players to gradually specialize their account.

Current Atlas regions include: Warrior's Path, Blood Sanctum, Fortress of Steel, Temple of Precision, Wild Frontier, Golden Market, and Prestige Nexus.

Additional regions are planned as the Atlas expands.

Section 05

Why Prestige matters

Prestige is the core long-term progression system of Blade Rising.

Every Ascension increases your permanent power through Atlas upgrades, making future combat runs faster and allowing you to reach higher Floors of Evil than before.

Instead of treating Ascension as losing progress, think of it as converting temporary progress into permanent account strength.
