v1.4.0

Prestige Leaves Early Access & Grand Progression Rebalance

Blade Rising 1.4.0 is one of the biggest progression updates yet. The Prestige system has reached 100% of its planned initial scope and is officially leaving Early Access. The centerpiece of this update is the addition of 30 brand-new Prestige Boons, split across three progression tiers with 10 new Boons each. At the same time, the progression of both the player and enemies has received a major rebalance, creating a stronger foundation for the journey through the Floors of Evil.

🌟 Prestige Leaves Early Access

Prestige has reached a major milestone in Blade Rising.

With version 1.4.0, the Prestige system has reached 100% of its planned initial scope and officially leaves Early Access.

Prestige has grown into one of the game's most important long-term progression systems, allowing players to turn their progress through the Floors of Evil into permanent power and new progression choices.

Version 1.4.0 completes the first full version of that system with its biggest expansion yet.

✨ 30 New Prestige Boons

A total of 30 brand-new Prestige Boons have been added.

The new Boons are divided into three progression tiers:

Tier 1: 10 new Prestige Boons

Tier 2: 10 new Prestige Boons

Tier 3: 10 new Prestige Boons

This significantly expands the number of choices available through Prestige and gives players many more ways to develop their long-term progression.

As players advance further through Prestige, additional Boons become available across the three tiers.

The expansion makes Prestige a much larger progression system and gives every Ascension more opportunities to strengthen future runs.

👑 Prestige Reaches 100%

The addition of these 30 Boons marks the completion of the planned initial Prestige system.

Prestige originally entered Blade Rising as an Early Access feature and has continued to grow through multiple updates.

With v1.4.0, the planned initial feature set is now complete.

This does not mean development of Prestige is finished forever.

It means the system has reached the point where its core progression structure and planned initial content are complete enough to officially leave Early Access.

Future updates can continue expanding and improving Prestige as Blade Rising grows.

⚖️ Grand Progression Rebalance

Version 1.4.0 also introduces a major rebalance of progression across Blade Rising.

Both player progression and enemy progression have been reviewed and rebalanced.

The goal is to create a smoother and more satisfying progression curve throughout the Floors of Evil.

Player power should continue to feel meaningful as runs progress, while enemies should scale appropriately alongside the player's growing strength.

This rebalance affects the broader progression journey rather than focusing on a single floor, enemy or upgrade.

It creates a stronger foundation for both the current game and future progression content.

👹 Enemy Progression Rebalance

Enemy progression has been rebalanced alongside player progression.

As players climb higher through the Floors of Evil, enemies need to remain relevant to the player's increasing power.

Version 1.4.0 adjusts this progression curve as part of the larger balance pass.

The goal is to create more consistent progression and reduce situations where parts of the climb feel disproportionately easy or difficult compared with the surrounding floors.

⚔️ Player Progression Rebalance

Player progression has also received a major balance pass.

The relationship between player growth, upgrades and the increasing challenge of the Floors of Evil has been reviewed as part of the v1.4.0 progression overhaul.

Together with the enemy progression changes, this creates a more consistent foundation for long-term progression.

The expanded Prestige system is now also part of this larger progression structure, giving players considerably more permanent progression choices through the new Boons.

⏩ Skip Summary Unlocks Earlier

Skip Summary now unlocks at Floor 10.

This gives players access to the feature much earlier in their progression.

Skip Summary allows players to continue through multiple floors without stopping at every Summary screen, making repeated progression faster and more convenient.

Moving the unlock to Floor 10 means players can start using this quality-of-life feature much earlier in their journey.

📳 Haptic Feedback

Blade Rising now includes expanded haptic feedback support.

Haptics have been added to selected gameplay and progression moments to make important actions feel more responsive and satisfying.

Players can control haptic feedback through the game settings.

Haptic feedback is enabled by default and can be turned off at any time.

🎁 Offers & Rewards

Several improvements have been made to offers and rewards.

The Welcome Pack has been adjusted, including the removal of Ads Free from the pack.

Special offers can now also be presented more effectively during progression, including Prestige-related opportunities.

These changes are designed to make offers clearer and better integrated with the player's progression through the game.

🔧 UI, Combat & Quality Improvements

Blade Rising 1.4.0 also includes a collection of smaller improvements and fixes across the game:

Improved Prestige Map presentation.

Improved boss intro animations.

Improved timer positioning in the Main Menu.

Fixed Battle Pass red dot notification behavior.

Improved haptic feedback support.

Skip Summary now unlocks at Floor 10.

Additional combat and progression fixes.

General UI improvements and polish.

Various smaller fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
